Azerbaijan pursues its centuries-long policy of exiling people from their native lands, while the authorities continue insisting that they have no problems with ethnic minorities. The strangest thing in this situation is the position of the international community, which seems to support the policy of Azerbaijan with its silence.
Armenians from different countries, who formerly resided in Azerbaijan, have initiated a coordinating council of plenipotentiary representatives of political, religious and national groups of Azerbaijani Armenians, which the Azerbaijan Armenian refugees cooperate with.
The latter today issued their address to UN Secretary General Ban ki-Moon and the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the Republic of Armenia, in which they ask to demonstrate a corresponding attitude to Azerbaijan's policy towards ethnic minorities and make the latter meet its international commitments.
